Series or single books?

I like to read a series. I know all the characters. I like the Toad series by Mooris Gleitsman.
I think series books are all too much the same .
I prefer series books because you have alot of books you can read and that they have alot of adventures because there are alot of books. My favourite series was Rangers Apprentice.
